Report problems with CALSTAT or text

If you're experiencing a problem with a CALSTAT program or have found an error in the text, please fill out and submit the following report form. Please check out the FAQ first to see if your problem has already been discussed. If there is not enough room to enter numbers or you cannot see results completely, you will benefit from installing the CALSTAT service pack. If you are using the Vista operating system, the help built into the program will not work unless you install a program available only from Microsoft (they will not allow me to provide it).

Report Form

After you submit your report, you will receive an email detailing my response. If the problem is of general interest, the problem and resolution will be discussed on the FAQ page.  Please be as specific as possible when describing the problem.

  1. Please enter a brief one-line description of the problem:

    (example: "The program ONEWAY ANOVA shut down unexpectedly")
  2. If the problem is reproducible, please list the steps required to cause it,
    leaving a blank line between steps:
    (example for program: "1. With 3 groups, 4 scores per group, Click on Print table in ONEWAY.")
    (example for textbook: "The sum of squares presented in the second table on page x, line y is incorrect. My answer is z.")

    If the problem is not reproducible (only happened once, or occasionally for no apparent reason), please describe the circumstances in which it occurred and the symptoms observed:
    (note: it is much harder to fix non-reproducible bugs)
